01 How it works

Three steps. Thirty seconds.

1

Add your vehicle

Make, model, odometer. That's everything CarLog needs to start.

2

Log as you go

Fill-ups at the pump, costs when they happen, repairs when they're done.

3

Read the answers

Real consumption, monthly totals — and reminders before deadlines hit.

02 Why it pays off

Built to answer the questions you actually ask

CarLog costs screen with total spent, this month, this year and a monthly costs bar chart

See where the money goes

Fuel, insurance, parking, repairs — every expense lands in one monthly chart, with totals for this month, this year and the lifetime of the car. No spreadsheet required.

Totals by month Category breakdown Any currency

CarLog fuel-ups screen with average consumption, cost per 100 km and total spent

Real consumption, not the brochure number

Log full tanks and CarLog computes what your car actually burns — and what every distance really costs. Works in L/100 km, MPG (US) and MPG (UK), with any currency per fill-up.

Deadlines that never slip

06 Questions

Asked before installing

Where is my data stored?

Locally on your phone, in the app's private storage. There is no CarLog server and no account. Android's built-in backup can include CarLog in your own Google Drive device backup, so a reinstall or a new phone restores your data.

Does CarLog work offline?

Completely. Every feature works without a connection — airplane mode changes nothing.

What happens when the free trial ends?

CarLog switches to read-only. You can still browse your full history, export your data, and scheduled reminders keep firing. Adding or editing entries requires the subscription. Nothing is ever deleted.

Which units and currencies does it support?

Kilometres or miles, litres or gallons, and consumption as L/100 km, MPG (US) or MPG (UK). Every expense stores its own currency, so fill-ups abroad stay correct.

Which languages is CarLog available in?

English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. The app follows your device language automatically.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. CarLog is currently available for Android only.

How is fuel consumption calculated?

With the full-tank method: mark a fill-up as a full tank and CarLog uses the distance and volume between full tanks to compute real consumption — more accurate than dashboard estimates.
